One Booking One Tree

One Booking One Tree

The Sarojin’s “One Booking One Tree” initiative, launched in 2022, aims to restore Khao Lak’s coastal ecosystems by planting one tree per booking. In partnership with local organisations, over 21,200 trees have been planted, targeting 25,000 by year-end. This effort protects the coastline, supports local communities, and promotes eco-tourism. Guests can join tree planting activities or explore the coastal region. The initiative now includes planting a tree for every guest at weddings held at The Sarojin, enhancing the memorable experience.
Sustainable Practices

Sustainable Practices

The Sarojin has eliminated plastic water bottles and single-use plastics, installed an on-site bottling plant and provides all guests with complimentary reusable water bottles. Aroma amenities are now in reusable ceramics, straws have been removed, and we offer a wide range of plant-based, vegetarian, and vegan menu options. These initiatives reflect The Sarojin’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices, enhancing the guest experience while protecting the environment.
Sarojin Cares

Sarojin Cares

The Sarojin operates ‘Sarojin Cares’ initiatives to support the local community, reduce energy and water consumption, minimise plastic usage and waste, and decrease carbon footprint. Monthly ‘Sarojin Cares’ days involve the team and guests in local environmental and community activities like clean-ups, restorations, and educational support. Recent efforts include supporting Avautis, a social enterprise providing employment for autistic adults and education for autistic children. These initiatives, running since 2011, highlight The Sarojin’s commitment to sustainability and community involvement.
